CETA becomes affiliate member of AMI
CETA, one of the leading independent general insurance networks, has announced it has joined the Association of Mortgage intermediaries (AMI) as an Affiliate Member.
Managing Director, David Quick, said: "CETA works closely with 40 leading mortgage networks and we are regularly communicating with more than 16,000 intermediaries, the majority of whom are mortgage brokers. It therefore made good sense for CETA to join AMI.
We are also aware from conversations with Chris and his team that general insurance issues are an important part of AMI's responsibilities. There is still a lot of education to be done regarding general insurance and we look forward to working with AMI during the coming months."
Chris Cummings, Director of AMI, said: "We are delighted CETA has become a member of AMI. We are pleased that an organisation of this stature has recognised the need to belong to the industry's trade association. The FSA listens to AMI's views on the practicalities of regulation and we have achieved this level of influence thanks, in part, to the fact that we can point to a rapidly growing membership from across the industry."
